Comment fic meme #2

After the first round of got_exchange we had a surprisingly successful comment fic meme going for a while (here's a list of all the fics that were written last time), so I thought it might be fun to do this again. (Like last time, it's posted on the mod account journal because I don't want to enable anonymous comments on the exchange community.)

I changed the layout to one that still supports comment titles. I hope it works for everyone. If there are any problems, please let me know.

A couple of rules, or rather guidelines:

- please include the pairing/character (and maybe a short prompt/kink) in the comment title - both for prompts and for fills.
- there are both show and book fans on this comm, so please warn for book spoilers beyond AGOT in the comment title.
- anonymous comments are enabled, but I'd appreciate if we kept them to a minimum. If you absolutely want to go anon, okay, but I'd rather we kept this as non-anonymous as possible.
- all prompts are welcome: smut, gen, romance, fluff, angst, het, slash ... anything goes.
- and the usual: be civil, no character/pairing bashing, no kink shaming etc.

It's perfectly fine to repost prompts from the last comment fic meme or from the exchange.

As with any kink meme, this is only fun if people also fill prompts, not if there are only requests.

FILL: Leeches for Wolves, Roose/Walda crack

I read this prompt, and then aproximately five minutes later this appeared...Let's assume that Roose was allowed to go back to the Dreafort after the war was over, how he got spared I don't know. Hope you were looking for something like this ;).

“Walda!” roared Roose, as he stormed through the Dreadfort, making his way towards his wife’s chambers. This was his castle, and no one, not even his lady, had a right to meddle in certain things.

He found Walda calmly sewing by a window. From the sheer amount of pink cloth in her hands, he wagered that she was making him another cloak. If she kept making them at this rate, they would have enough to outfit a small army.

“Yes, my Lord?” she replied calmly.

“You burned my leeches.”

“Oh, those terrible things. They leave such ugly marks on your skin, and they scare the children. Besides, the maester has plenty more leeches if you so desire.”

“Those were my leeches. Do you know how many years it has taken me to breed specific strains of them? What do you expect me to do when I have bad blood?”

“No blood is bad. Men die when they lose too much blood, so why would you want to lose even a little?”

“You are not a maester.”

“No, but I found you something even better than leeches to calm you down when you get angry.”

“Oh?” questioned Roose. He did not have time for this, he really didn’t. His head was pounding, and he felt ready to strangle someone with one of those pink cloaks Walda had made. My leeches…

Walda reached under her chair and produced a wolf pup. At closer inspection, this looked like a direwolf pup. Gods, what did I do to deserve this?

“Lady Stark’s direwolf recently whelped a litter of pups, and she felt that we might like one. They can be a very calming influence.”

The little direwolf leapt from Walda’s lap and ran to Roose’s feet. Roose had a strong urge to kick the thing, but when the wolf gave a delighted bark and he looked at his wife’s happy face, he sighed. There are worse things in life than having to live among wolves, I suppose.

Oh, this is exactly what I wanted. It's utterly cracky and too hilarious, much like the pairing of Roose/Walda (seriously though, they're basically the most functional pairing in ADWD and that's really disturbingly cute. In a sick way).

I almost feel sorry for Roose, but not quite. Nice to see Walda get her way, and I have a feeling that the poor little direwolf is going to be wearing pink bows on its collar for the rest of its life.

I know, right? From the letter Walda sends Roose in ACOK, to Roose mentioning how fond he is of his wife in that creepy way of his in ADWD. They are disturblingly cute.

The direwolf in pink bows...my mind was not prepared for the hilarity of that image.

They're ridiculous. I know that it's not going to happen but it would be hilarious if Roose was pardoned and had to live out the rest of his life with Walda and her cuteness and her pinkness. And puppies. And kittens. :D

There's nothing like Bolton crack to cheer me up. Oh God, this is hilarious. True OTP? Roose/leeches. Of course Walda would find them disgusting. Poor Roose, you can't come between a man and his LEECHES. ;)

OMG. This story is so, so adorable. Roose/Walda is really just one of my favorite things- the ultimate unlikely love story. If ASOIAF was a romantic comedy, it would star Roose and Walda, and it would be wonderful and hilarious. There, I said it.
