After the first round of got_exchange we had a surprisingly successful comment fic meme going for a while (here's a list of all the fics that were written last time), so I thought it might be fun to do this again. (Like last time, it's posted on the mod account journal because I don't want to enable anonymous comments on the exchange community.)

I changed the layout to one that still supports comment titles. I hope it works for everyone. If there are any problems, please let me know.

A couple of rules, or rather guidelines:

- please include the pairing/character (and maybe a short prompt/kink) in the comment title - both for prompts and for fills.
- there are both show and book fans on this comm, so please warn for book spoilers beyond AGOT in the comment title.
- anonymous comments are enabled, but I'd appreciate if we kept them to a minimum. If you absolutely want to go anon, okay, but I'd rather we kept this as non-anonymous as possible.
- all prompts are welcome: smut, gen, romance, fluff, angst, het, slash ... anything goes.
- and the usual: be civil, no character/pairing bashing, no kink shaming etc.

It's perfectly fine to repost prompts from the last comment fic meme or from the exchange.

As with any kink meme, this is only fun if people also fill prompts, not if there are only requests.

The first time Jon has a dream about Stannis, the king is offering him the one thing he's always wanted. It's a terrible dream. Stannis says that he will give Jon Winterfell, if Jon will only agree to his conditions. Jon accepts and awakes terrified of himself.

In his waking hours, he rejects Stannis Baratheon's offer. He sees the anger in Stannis' face and he feels the ache of something he will never have but he does not change his mind.

He had hoped that would be the end of it, that Stannis would leave the Wall or perhaps that Janos Slynt would have him beheaded after all, but he is made Lord Commander of the Night's Watch and he finds himself face-to-face with Stannis every day. Every day, they have a new argument; and, near every night, Jon has a new dream.

At first, he dreams of arguing, of winning or losing, of Stannis asking for the Wall or asking for men or gold, always asking for implausible things. Sometimes, Jon is tricked into giving them to him, in the dream. Sometimes, he argues and wins. But every night they are struggling, wrestling, more vicious and animal than they ever are in the cold light of day.

Then he dreams that Stannis Baratheon assaults him. He can't remember what the argument was, in that dream, probably it was about Winterfell - the dreams were always worst when they were about Winterfell - but it doesn't matter when Stannis' hands grasp his shoulders and push him backwards until he stumbles and finds himself pressed against the edge of his desk. And he thinks that Stannis Baratheon kisses him and that Stannis' hands find their way under his clothes. He tries to wake himself up (he remembers trying to) but he can't and he feels like he's drowning and he doesn't fight it as much as he should.

He doesn't know when most of the dreams become like this but, after a time, they do. The nights when he doesn't dream at all are a relief and it worries him how often he wakes up and finds himself palming his cock, knowing - even when he can't remember - what he must have dreamed of.

The dreams are mostly of Stannis bearing down on him, of big hands pressing him down and finding tender places on his skin. Sometimes he dreams of Stannis' hands on his shoulders, urging him downwards until he kneels, of Stannis' fingers in his hair as he kneels.

He tries not to think of the dreams when he sees Stannis in his waking hours but, sometimes, when he argues with Stannis on some petty question of policy, he remembers something that he never should have thought of at all. When he meets Stannis' eyes and sees their intensity, he remembers the things those eyes had urged him to do in his sleeping hours. He can't help but think, whenever he loses to Stannis in debate, that he might have been able to marshal a better argument, if he hadn't noticed the size of Stannis' hand when he'd slammed it on the table.

Still, he can't escape from it, the way they go down together in his sleep, the places he imagines finding Stannis' hands. And he swallows it as best he can - but it never goes away.

I love this - I always enjoy reading about their UST but the idea of if it happens, even if it's just a dream, that it's on the rough side, is very hot.

So I'm like the saviour figure who will bring porn to the starving masses? I like that. Except that my porn is mediocre and the masses are just the handful of people who even care about Stannis/Jon, but maybe my delusions will motivate me. ^^

That is a very cool description. Why do none of us seem to be capable of writing Stannis/Jon porn though? Maybe such an amazing thing can just never exist without the universe spontaneously combusting.

The problem with Stannis porn is always that our brains say, "wait, stop, Stannis wouldn't do that, he's far too repressed and he'd stop after one kiss." So every Stannis porn that isn't with his wife just demands some suspension of disbelief.

But your explanation that the universe would just combust is also very believable.

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Perfect. :D I love how these fantasies just sneak up on Jon in his sleep, how he dreams of Stannis all the time. It's very believable that way, because the way these two argue I wouldn't be surprised if Jon ended up dreaming about it at night. And his angst about Winterfell, perfect.

Also, this is just hot. I love how Jon has such a thing for Stannis' hands, to the point where he gets a bit distracted by them even when he's awake.

Love this line. I just generally love Jon kneeling for Stannis, for whatever reason. ^^

He'll still have Winterfell angst twenty years later, when he's happy on Stannis' Kingsguard and then they go North and visit grown-up badass Rickon and Jon will STILL angst.

You know me too well. Kneeling AND Stannis' hands? You really can't go wrong with that. ^^

I really appreciate that you took the time for it. I left Stannis/Jon prompts all over this comment fic meme in my evil attempts to make you write about them. ;) I can't believe it worked at least once. ;)

Is this really the first Stannis/Jon prompt I've filled for this meme? I feel like I've written a lot of fills (some of them are just half-written on my laptop though) so I'm kind of surprised. Must write more Stannis/Jon!

You wrote one Stannis/Davos fill, but I think this is your first Stannis/Jon fill on this meme. If you're hiding more Stannis/Jon on your laptop, you definitely need to share. ;)

Stannis would definitely be very matter-of-fact about it in an attempt to put an end to all of those ridiculous longing looks. Jon would still angst though, damn him.

Oh my. I really need to up my quota then, don't I? I'll see what I can do. I know I have half a Stannis/Davos fill on my desktop because I started it late last night. I'll have a look for more Stannis/Jon in a minute though - and, if I don't have some, I guess I'll have to write some.

Stannis and Jon spend a lot of time brooding together, but they're both very good at occasionally telling each other to suck it up.

I was writing the Stannis/Davos from an outside POV prompt - before you'd posted your amazing fill. I just need to finish it off with a few more POVs. (I was doing a POV per paragraph - any suggestions?)

Multiple fills are always epic, especially with a prompt like this when you could just write dozens of versions for different characters.
