Comment fic meme #2

After the first round of got_exchange we had a surprisingly successful comment fic meme going for a while (here's a list of all the fics that were written last time), so I thought it might be fun to do this again. (Like last time, it's posted on the mod account journal because I don't want to enable anonymous comments on the exchange community.)

I changed the layout to one that still supports comment titles. I hope it works for everyone. If there are any problems, please let me know.

A couple of rules, or rather guidelines:

- please include the pairing/character (and maybe a short prompt/kink) in the comment title - both for prompts and for fills.
- there are both show and book fans on this comm, so please warn for book spoilers beyond AGOT in the comment title.
- anonymous comments are enabled, but I'd appreciate if we kept them to a minimum. If you absolutely want to go anon, okay, but I'd rather we kept this as non-anonymous as possible.
- all prompts are welcome: smut, gen, romance, fluff, angst, het, slash ... anything goes.
- and the usual: be civil, no character/pairing bashing, no kink shaming etc.

It's perfectly fine to repost prompts from the last comment fic meme or from the exchange.

As with any kink meme, this is only fun if people also fill prompts, not if there are only requests.

This prompt totally reminds me of your Stannis/Sansa wedding idea. I don't know if I'm up to writing it but I would be attempting it right now if I weren't tying my shoelaces in preparation to walk out the door because, in two sentences:

She expects to be afraid, in the throne room at King's Landing, stood before her lord (her king, her soon-to-be husband). There is no softness in him, she thinks, and there is certainly little enough kindness in his expression. But, as he takes the white Stark cloak from her shoulders and replaces it with the Baratheon yellow, she realises that she is not afraid. When she feels his hands on the clasp at her throat, her breath doesn't even hitch.

This is so lovely and I adore how Sansa has learned to trust Stannis because, unlike all of the other men in her life, he has no ulterior motives and deep down, is just decent. Can't wait to read more.

I just used to be all proud of myself for NOT shipping a bunch of weird father/son ships in ASOIAF (like I do in pretty much ALL my other fandoms), until I realised that I just ship people with the guy who reminds them of their father. I'm hopeless. (Duh, psychoanalysts are obviously the most normal people ever.)

Oh my god, I love you so much. You just took my rage and threw it out of the window because I'm smiling madly about this little thing. It's beautiful. I love Sansa being strong and brave and awesome, and these two would just be wonderful together. If you ever write more about this, I will just end up having to write more Stannis/Jon fic for you (so, yes, please do it ;)). Love the little detail of his hands on the clasp at her throat.

I ended up writing other things. ldjkaffj But I did write a couple of paragraphs which I may end up discarding because they aren't strictly relevant. God damn you, comment fic meme, why do you have to have so many great prompts?

Stop making me feel like Stannis Baratheon would disapprove of my needing 8 hours a night to function. (I know he would.) My comfort if worthless - worse than worthless, if it keeps me from doing my duty. Right now, though, I am going to try to tear myself away from my 500 word WIP and sleep. On my honour, I swear to continue in my duties tomorrow though. ;D
