After the first round of got_exchange we had a surprisingly successful comment fic meme going for a while (here's a list of all the fics that were written last time), so I thought it might be fun to do this again. (Like last time, it's posted on the mod account journal because I don't want to enable anonymous comments on the exchange community.)

I changed the layout to one that still supports comment titles. I hope it works for everyone. If there are any problems, please let me know.

A couple of rules, or rather guidelines:

- please include the pairing/character (and maybe a short prompt/kink) in the comment title - both for prompts and for fills.
- there are both show and book fans on this comm, so please warn for book spoilers beyond AGOT in the comment title.
- anonymous comments are enabled, but I'd appreciate if we kept them to a minimum. If you absolutely want to go anon, okay, but I'd rather we kept this as non-anonymous as possible.
- all prompts are welcome: smut, gen, romance, fluff, angst, het, slash ... anything goes.
- and the usual: be civil, no character/pairing bashing, no kink shaming etc.

It's perfectly fine to repost prompts from the last comment fic meme or from the exchange.

As with any kink meme, this is only fun if people also fill prompts, not if there are only requests.

Oh FML I filled my own fill. How self-indulgent.

Although she centers her days around those brief moments that they are able to steal, half-completed caresses, secret kisses in the garden, all of those things that would cause Barbrey's lip to curl were she hearing a starry-eyed maiden relate them, she finds that, in the end, it is not as she had thought. Few things have been with Brandon, and although she has done her best to hold it in her mind as it should have been, it never really is. It is after such a time that she encounters her sister, newly-married, as she steals away from the godswood, one of their more blasphemous meeting places, and her cheeks are still flushed from his lips, the rough burn of his beard as he devours her.

She can still feel those hands grasping her breasts, straining the fabric of her dress as he works his fingers between her flesh and the silk. She'd like to keep that feeling all day.

Her sister is standing in front of the stables, all in black, as is her wont these days as the new Lady Bolton. She is dressed for riding and clutches a smallish crop against her chest. Barbrey is surprised to see her so soon after her marriage and although normally would welcome such a reunion, is not pleased to see her.

Her legs are still shaky from what she's done.

"I've come to buy one of the palfries," Bethany says, smiling. "But I did not think to see you. Father said that you'd gone riding yourself."

Barbrey laughs at the excuse. In a way, it is true. A little.

"That is done with. I suppose Lord Leech will have the finest horses in the North now." Her voice comes out colder than she'd expected, and although Bethany does not flinch, she appears to be repressing a smile.

"The horse is for me," she says, grasping the reins as the stableboy leads it into the yard. "'Lord Leech,' as you put it, is not particular enough about horseflesh."

"I'm surprised that you suffer that."

Bethany laughs, swinging up onto the saddle. "A man newly-married has...other priorities." As she rides off, she turns, and her voice is just as cutting as Barbrey'd had been.

"As for your paramour, you should have him wash his hands before he attends to you."

Barbrey looks down at her dress, sees the muddy handprints from the ground in the grove, and sighs.

I love the creepy Ryswell sisters. Bethany's snarky comment at the end is priceless. ^^

Ohhh my goodness, this is so fantastic!

Yeah, those Ryswell girls. Such a peculiar relationship, and you explore it perfectly in this brief little snippet. The dialogue is perfect, and the imagery- beautiful, beautiful.

There's something really sexy about Barbrey/Brandon. I dunno. I just really like it. :)

Thank you! I really love the Ryswell sisters and have so much headcanon for them - although we only get Bethany's name in canon, considering how sharp Barbrey is, I always imagine that they had a loving yet snarky relationship.
