I'm just a bit speechless. This is marvelous. It's like an AU I never knew I wanted.

I think Robert is a rubbish king, and I can't imagine what other than he swung a war hammer, seemed to recommend him at the time as a king. Now, Ned seems more kingly, but as Kevan so rightly points out here, he has a deadly flaw.

I love that in this Cersei gets what she wants--someone who will include her willingly in a share of the power. It shows Ned's respect for his partner, but it also makes Cersei into rather a different creature here, which is always what I wondered--would she be different under wholly different circumstances.

I love that they still take Jon in and Cersei actually accepts him unlike Cat. I think she might, should she have gotten the other things she wanted.

That she still can't give up Jaime, however, is just tragic. This is just tragic, magnificent stuff you've created here.
