As much as I love Catelyn, as much as I understand where she's coming from with her resentment of Robb, it always made me slightly angry at her. He was a child, after all, and totally faultless.
And it's so JON to refuse Winterfell so that Sansa can have it, even though she wasn't even the closest to him. And so him to offer protection to Cat. Cat, who still has hope for the girls. It would have been wonderful, Cat still alive, still having hope. But GRRM is a cruel, cruel man.
