Oh so beautiful. I'm so fascinated by Ashara/Ned, and you've given us such a perfect glimpse into Ashara's mind. This story makes me think a lot about the huge difference between Ned's idea of honor and Robb's- Ned thinks it's more important to honor the betrothal promise that his brother made, even after sleeping with Ashara, while Robb refuses to dishonor Jeyne by marrying another woman after he took her maidenhead. Interesting, those Stark boys and their honor.
