I had no idea I wanted this. But it's utterly perfect and beautiful and I would totally be okay with this being canon. I LOVE your Lyanna, all wild and Northern and independent, and at the same time a scared little girl who is afraid that her brother will marry some Southern lady and not love her anymore, afraid of Rhaegar's attention that she never asked for. You just made Brandon/Lyanna so heartbreakingly beautiful, I can't help but ship it. And it's so sad, how he promises to keep her safe, but of course he can't ... Now I just want an AU in which they were happy. ;)
