Re: Sansa/Oberyn

(Hope this is okay!)

She is hardly more than a child and yet she fascinates him. When she first arrived she was as silent as a ghost with yellow bruises scattered across her chest and arms. She had experienced nothing short of horror in the court of Joffrey Baratheon and so closed up to the world and its hardships. It took five long months and many kind words to finally coax her out of her shell and she came to realise that he truly meant her no harm. Their marriage was a strictly political one and it united two unlikely houses in matrimony; merging frost and sun together. He had been unsure at first that Sansa Stark would take to Dorne but eventually the frost thawed and she welcomed the sunshine.

She took delight in the water gardens. He had come across her there one hot afternoon, dressed in a light gauzy dress the colour of peaches and playing with the children. Laughter was painted clearly across her pretty features and in the sunlight he thought she looked like the Maiden reborn. Far too angelic for him. Somebody splashed her and the water made the dress cling to her skinny form. He had touched her only once on the night of their wedding, preferring to wait until she grew older before taking his rights as husband, but that didn’t mean he was immune to her charms. No, he was very much looking forward to teaching her all the ways of pleasure and suspected she would be an eager student.

He beckoned to her then and took a kiss, enjoying the sight of her inflamed cheeks. It was incredibly easy to make her blush and he took great pleasure in gently teasing her. She always moved with the upmost grace but when it came to intimacy she was a mere child. The blood orange she was eating was a sticky mess, leaving its sweetness on her lips and chin.

Yes, he was definitely looking forward to knowing Sansa Stark better.
