I hope everyone isn't too busy with the porn battle for the post-exchange comment fic meme. As usual, I would very much appreciate if you could help spread the word about this meme on LJ or tumblr or wherever - the more people know about this, the more prompts and fills there are. :)

The rules are the same as always:

- please include the pairing/character (and maybe a short prompt/kink) in the comment title - both for prompts and for fills.
- there are both show and book fans in this community, so please warn for book spoilers beyond ACOK in the comment title. Please also warn for non-con, violence etc.
- anonymous comments are enabled, but I'd appreciate if we kept them to a minimum. If you absolutely want to go anon, okay, but I'd rather we kept this as non-anonymous as possible.
- all prompts are welcome: smut, gen, romance, crack, fluff, angst, het, slash, femslash ... anything goes.
- be civil, no character/pairing bashing, no kink shaming etc.
- please don't derail other people's prompts with comments like "I think this would be better if it was about a different character" or the like. Post your own prompt.

It's perfectly fine to reprompt ideas from the previous comment fic memes, the exchange or other kink memes. If you missed the previous fic memes, you can find the masterlists here: #1, #2, #3, #4. (Make sure you don't accidentally post new prompts over there, nobody will see them.)

As with any kink meme, this is only fun if people also fill prompts, not if there are only requests.

Filled prompts:
Catelyn & Lysa: The Tully Girl Who Mattered
Petyr/Sansa: scar kink
Victarion/Asha: Coming home
Stannis/Jon: Scars
Jon/Sansa: Jon as step-father (or father-like figure) to Sansa's children.
Sansa/Oberyn: anything that involves the water gardens.
Petyr/Sansa: Modern AU
Arya, Bran: The Race (Brothers and sisters are as close as hands and feet.)
Victarion/Asha: Practicality
Selyse/Stannis, Shireen: Victorious
Sansa/Oberyn: Five Gifts
Stannis/Jon: In the Skin
Sandor & Arya: Long Road Home
Sandor/Sansa: Daddy in Charge (Sandor babysitting his kids)

Multiple fills are of course welcome.

Stannis Baratheon was reincarnated as Javert, Davos Seaworth was reborn as Jean Valjean. How do these two react when their memories come back?
Bonus points for:
- Cosette is the reincarnation of Shireen Baratheon, and Stannis/Javert has to deal with the fact that she's his daughter as much as she is Valjean's.
- Stannis/Davos having had a thing going in their previous life, and how Javert/Valjean negotiate being both best friends/lovers in their former life and enemies in their current one.

(Hope this is okay!)

She is hardly more than a child and yet she fascinates him. When she first arrived she was as silent as a ghost with yellow bruises scattered across her chest and arms. She had experienced nothing short of horror in the court of Joffrey Baratheon and so closed up to the world and its hardships. It took five long months and many kind words to finally coax her out of her shell and she came to realise that he truly meant her no harm. Their marriage was a strictly political one and it united two unlikely houses in matrimony; merging frost and sun together. He had been unsure at first that Sansa Stark would take to Dorne but eventually the frost thawed and she welcomed the sunshine.

She took delight in the water gardens. He had come across her there one hot afternoon, dressed in a light gauzy dress the colour of peaches and playing with the children. Laughter was painted clearly across her pretty features and in the sunlight he thought she looked like the Maiden reborn. Far too angelic for him. Somebody splashed her and the water made the dress cling to her skinny form. He had touched her only once on the night of their wedding, preferring to wait until she grew older before taking his rights as husband, but that didn’t mean he was immune to her charms. No, he was very much looking forward to teaching her all the ways of pleasure and suspected she would be an eager student.

He beckoned to her then and took a kiss, enjoying the sight of her inflamed cheeks. It was incredibly easy to make her blush and he took great pleasure in gently teasing her. She always moved with the upmost grace but when it came to intimacy she was a mere child. The blood orange she was eating was a sticky mess, leaving its sweetness on her lips and chin.

Yes, he was definitely looking forward to knowing Sansa Stark better.

Re: Arya/Bran (gen), The Race

Date: 2013-01-27 05:18 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] aneedleofmyown.livejournal.com
“Bran, wait!” Arya called, chasing after her brother as he nimbly made his way up and across the roof of the stables. “Slow down!” Any other time, she'd be able to outrun him easily, but this was different. Her younger brother was so surefooted, even on the narrowest of beams; she doubted she'd ever keep up with him without her feet on the ground.

But that didn't keep her from trying.

********

Bran couldn't help but let out an excited yelp as he hopped his way from one roof to another as his sister struggled to match his pace. It was a good thing he was ahead of her; if she saw the smug grin on his face, she'd punch him for certain.

He loved climbing- the feeling that he could go anywhere he wanted, whenever he wanted, and no one could tell him otherwise; the feeling of freedom. He loved seeing the ground a long way down from his feet. He'd never admit it, but sometimes he'd even pretend he could fly. As much as he loved all that, though, it usually meant that he played by himself. Having his big sister along somehow just made it even better.

Truthfully, he liked playing with Arya best of all. Rickon was too young, and the games he played bored Bran. But Robb and Jon were both too old and too big to be walking on the sometimes rickety roofs of the Winterfell courtyard. And Sansa... well, she would have been alright if she weren't such a girl.

“I'm going to beat you!” Bran called back over his shoulder, never taking his eyes from the path of his feet.

“You think so?” Arya called back. He could hear that she was out of breath, but he knew not to underestimate the stubbornness in her voice.

Bran quickened his pace in response, but it was no use. While he was always precise in his movements- his footsteps all planned, avoiding the weaker areas of the roof- his sister was not. In a mad, reckless dash, she surged ahead of him, taking a wild leap until she landed hard on the roof of the smithy. She was laughing loudly across the gap, but he ignored her, crouching down to try and hide himself; he knew what was coming next.

“What in blazes are you doing up there?” Mikken hollered as he came to see what had made such a noise above his head. “Arya?”

She stopped laughing at once, shooting a glare toward Bran, who remained well-hidden. “I...”

“I expected this of your brother, little miss, but not from you,” Mikken scolded. “Just you wait until I tell Lady Stark about this, she won't be-”

The blacksmith's words were cut off, though, as Arya let out another laugh and ineptly made her way down from the roof. “No need to tell Mother, Mikken,” she said sweetly, and Bran couldn't help but roll his eyes from his hiding place. “I promise I'll not do it again.” She was all smiles as the man shrewdly considered her words.

“Aye,” he finally said, relaxing. “Make sure that you don't.”

Bran didn't see his sister again until dinner that night. She pinched him under the table and smugly reminded him, “I won.”

“Only because you're stupid,” he muttered, only pouting a little.

Arya merely shrugged at that, her smile undiminished. “I still won.”

Neither Aegon nor Daenerys survive the winter--Tyrion has to stand trial for his father's murder, with King Stannis as judge. How does Sansa rescue him?

Selyse / Stannis

Date: 2013-01-27 02:58 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] sara-dea.livejournal.com
It's more a Selyse ask.
Set right after the end of ADWD. She thinks he is dead, and she blames him, for dying in the attempt of saving someone else's daughter, and leaving his own daughter alone. She blames Melisandre, for not being able to see his death coming, but in the end, she blames herself, for bringing him the red priestess, and convincing him he was R'hlor chosen.
Bonus if he's actually alive and comes back to his wife and daughter ;)

Victorious, Selyse/Stannis, & Shireen

Date: 2013-01-29 03:29 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] sternflammenden.livejournal.com
Selyse doesn’t bother to weep any longer. She doesn’t grieve for their situation, forgotten in a drafty castle on the edge of the world, with only a skeleton crew of doubtful men and her sickly daughter for company. She sits in her purloined solar, wrapped in furs, staring into the flames that lick pitifully at the meager allotment of wood that the Night’s Watch permit her each day. She’s not quite sure what she is trying to see. Perhaps it is R’hllor, come at last, as promised, come to fulfill the hours of devotion that she, as his faithful servant, has granted him. Perhaps it is their doom, hers and Shireen’s, an image wrought in the ash of the White Walkers that will surely come down from the land beyond the wall and take them all, dragging them into a sleep, or worse yet, an endless life in death. Perhaps it means nothing, and if it is, then all of this has been for nothing, and that is worst of all.

She does not comfort Shireen much when the girl comes to her, sinking onto the floor beside her mother’s chair, scarred cheek turned inward to hide against the ermine that keeps Selyse from freezing to death in this draughty, tumble-down excuse for a holdfast. Her hand rests lifelessly on her daughter’s hair, and she thinks coldly on her husband, glad that she cannot see her child’s piercing blue eyes and square jaw, too like her father’s face, too much for a little girl almost, for it will only remind her of what she has lost, and the sacrifice that he has made for a dead man's girl, leaving his own to freeze.

Selyse is angry at first, angry at Stannis for leaving them to rot here, for consigning her and her Florent kin to ramshackle castle after castle in this brutal country. First Eastwatch, which was an insult from which she still rages privately to her Queen’s Men, and now Castle Black, where she is a gilded raven among crows, clad in her black gown with its gilded accents, not out of place among that crows that surround her, squabbling and picking for what little is left. Perhaps it is fitting, this gown of Baratheon obsidian and gold. Perhaps it will become her widow’s weeds.

Then she is angry at Melisandre, furious with the red woman who has promised her all and shown her nothing save a prophecy that has turned on her, turned on them all. Her voice had so soothed Selyse, had calmed her fury, had given her a purpose and a meaning to the long endless days of idleness and routine that spread before the wife of a great lord, and she had embraced the new faith, had embraced the fire that had so warmed her at first. It has now has left her singed and pained, and finally, numb. She is glad that she does not have to face the priestess now, thankful that she does not have to affect courtesies that Melisandre will so easily penetrate with her sharp words and her knowing eyes. Selyse knows that she would swallow her words but wonder always, that if the gift were so great and the message so clear, why this end, this horrible bitter end, was not foreseen as well?

But it has been weeks and there is no word. Not from Stannis, nor his men, nor any other northern scavenger. All is as silent as the snows that blanket the barren land in which she now dwells. She refuses to light the fire now, for it is too painful a reminder of her own blindness, and she sits and waits and says nothing.

And one day there is a raven bearing a tattered parchment with a makeshift seal, a leaping stag, a fiery heart, and she clutches it like a talisman in a hand grown sharp and thin with want. She cares not for the northern dead nor any detail of the battle that surely raged in the lands to the south. She only cares for one thing. He is coming back to them and he is victorious.
